Turn Offs in Women in the Swing Lifestyle

I came across a Forum on a Swinger Dating site, and after running through more than 60 responses I figured this would be a good thing to consolidate and share with you!

The question is: What Turn Offs do you find in Women in the Lifestyle?

In most cases, I was unable to determine if it was a man or woman responding to the question, but at least a few were definitely female responses. I’m sure most of this list applies to turn-offs in women AND men, so guys, listen up too!

In the first category, these issues were mentioned often and were repeated by others.

A row of smiling beings with one unhappy one

Bad Attitude

Predominant Turn Offs:
Poor, Pissy or Pretentious attitude, being rude
Poor hygiene, smelly/BO, smelling of smoke
Lying, spreading rumors, speaking poorly/rudely about others
Speaking badly about their own bodies, poor self-image

A woman in a hoodie smoking a cigarette

A smelly habit

Things on the Secondary list were mentioned at least twice but not as often as the first group.

Secondary Turn Offs:
Clingy, jealousy, Drama Queens
Say they are ready but aren’t, can’t communicate what she wants
Strong perfume, heavy makeup, lipstick
Smelling of alcohol or cigarettes
Poor grooming, unshaved/unruly hair
Teasers, mind games
Lack of subtlety, pushy, rude, arrogance
Attention seekers, need to be center of attention
Being drunk or high

Honorable Mentions: (only mentioned in one response)
Fake nails, wigs/weaves
Jewelry like a Xmas tree
Ugly feet
Perfume and lipstick
“lacking a pulse”/dead fish

Funny that there is nothing in this list that state size, race, color, age, stretch marks, scars or any of the other hangups so many of us have are a turn-off. So perhaps the problem is our own and not that of the general swinger population. If you have low self-esteem, keep it to yourself.

It seems that most of this list is manageable, and are things one can change to make themselves more attractive. Check your attitude at the door, ditch the artificial scent (most prospective play partners would rather smell YOU than your perfume) and put your best foot forward! (of course, we can’t do anything about the feet we were born with. I think the “ugly feet” comment was probably from a foot fetishist!)

If you are new to this lifestyle, maybe this will help you in beginning your exploration.

Perhaps this insight will help you in your quest for marital bliss. Or at least swingers bliss!

The O Zone’s Mardi Pardi is the Pardi Of The Year!

All the pertinent info for Mardi Pardi, Sat. March 23rd!

The O Zone is known for its extravagant parties with over-the-top decorations, and Mardi Pardi is no exception! This is one of The Zone’s largest parties each year, and adventurous couples from all over Canada and the US converge for a night of decadent and naughty fun! This year, the date is Saturday, March 23rd!

Mardi Gras is traditionally the mark of the beginning of Lent in the Catholic religion and is best known for its roots in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mardi Gras is known for street parties, opulent costumes with masks and huge parades dancing thru the streets. But it’s most known for the beads. During Mardi Gras in Nawlin’s, ladies flash their breasts to the crowds. Appreciative onlookers reward them with strands of colorful plastic beads. Often onlookers are standing on the balconies on the second floor looking down into the street.

Ladies flash their breasts to earn colorful beads

The O Zone has adopted that tradition. They give beads to every male member of couples arriving for the evening. The ladies are encouraged to flash the gentlemen to earn beads. Around midnight, the Most Beads contest is measured and the winner receives a grounds pass for 2 for Sandy Bottoms Resort this summer. Last years winner had a haul that weighed a whopping 32 lbs!

Of course, this event wouldn’t be the opulent, debauchery-driven party it is without some anonymity. Mardi Gras is also known for its beautiful masks. And The O Zone’s party is no different! Many guests arrive in masks to help set the mood. Don’t have a mask? No problem!! Arrive early! The first 30 ladies thru the door will receive a beautiful metal La Senza mask! Doors open at 8 pm, so aim to arrive early!

Masks are an important part of Mardi Gras

The other thing that Mardi Gras is known for is it’s theme colors of Gold, Green, and Purple. The colors were chosen in 1872 and have the following meaning: Purple = Justice. Green = Faith. Gold = Power. However, you symbolize the colors, feel free to wear these, or any bright colors to add to the festive atmosphere at Mardi Pardi!

This is the 12th annual Mardi Pardi The O Zone has hosted, and they’ve got it down pat! Appetizers and food served all evening long, free beads for all the guys and free masks for the first 30 ladies, specialty drinks and music to keep you moving all night long!

Not been to The O Zone before? Check out the official site and it’s FAQ page to answer any questions you may have. Don’t worry, you won’t be the only newbie at an event here! You’ll be well cared for but our awesome staff and our regular, friendly members. Questions about the Lifestyle? Check this out!

And because the fun never ends at The O Zone, they are offering a special bonus! Tickets for Mardi Pardi on Saturday night include admission to the club the night before for their Mardi Pardi Pre-Party on Friday night! Many guests stay at a nearby hotel for the weekend and sleep in Saturday morning, do a little shopping and head back to The Zone for Saturday’s party.

And of course, there are the playrooms if the naughtiness of the evening has you feeling a little randy! Many couples culminate their evening with a trip to the playrooms, but that’s totally up to you. Many couples come to enjoy the sexy atmosphere, the chance to dress provocatively for their partner and to create a sizzle in their relationship. How you enjoy Mardi Pardi, or any other event at The O Zone for that matter, is up to you and your partner.

Mardi Pardi sold out last year before the event, so book your tickets now to avoid disappointment, then start planning that sexy outfit! See you in The Zone!

A Hotel Takeover that celebrates sexuality and Freedom of Expression

Valentine’s in Niagara Feb 1 – 3, 2019

It’s nearly time for Valentine’s In Niagara again! Feb 1-3, 2019! For 12 years, TABOTA has been hosting this complete hotel takeover in beautiful and romantic Niagara Falls, ON and this year is no different! The exact location is not disclosed publicly for security reasons but is given to registered attendees of the event only.

Last year was completely sold out, and hundreds of sexually open-minded couples converged from all over North America for this epic weekend to celebrate their sexual diversity.

The hotel boasts a tropical paradise with indoor pool and hot tub area (both clothing optional), courtyard with plenty of seating, and a restaurant on premise for a quick, delicious meal to keep attendees fueled for the fun night ahead. Feel free to bring along whatever food you might like to consume in your room over the weekend otherwise, as there is a fridge in every room. A cash bar is conveniently located in the courtyard as well, or bring your own alcohol and pour from your room. Don’t forget a plastic, To Go cup to carry your beverage with you while you hang out with other guests or attend one of the many scheduled events happening over the weekend.

They offer several room types, including rooms that open directly into the courtyard where all the action happens. There is a Room Door decorating contest and this really helps set the mood for the entire weekend right from the moment attendees arrive, seeing these decorations as they make their way to their own room. TABOTA itself does a fair amount of decorating as well, making the location their own with splashes of red hearts everywhere, reflecting Valentine’s theme.

Themed dance parties each night, contests and mixers are highlights of the weekend, which are rounded out with live entertainment on Saturday evening, and workshops, demos, and seminars on sexy topics throughout the day. In the evenings, there are 2 playrooms available for group activities, including one kinky playroom ready for whatever shade of gray you’re into.

Many attendees are swingers or open to non-monogamous play, but this event is attended by many open-minded, monogamous couples looking for something just a little more than what they share now. VIN, just like The O Zone, is attracting those committed couples who are looking for ways to spice up their sex life in non-conventional ways, and Valentine’s in Niagara gives them the anonymity to explore with little chance of meeting someone they know.

If this is you, don’t worry, we understand your trepidation. But please know, it’s not likely how you envision it. While there is plenty of flirting and sexiness happening, there is no expectation that you do anything you aren’t up for. Sit in the hot tub and watch others flirt and kiss, listen to the erotic and frank conversations around you and dance the night away next to other sexy couples there for exactly the same reason: to feel sexy and have fun with their partner!

If you and your partner wish to explore further, that’s between the two of you. Have a frank and honest conversation, set some limits that keep you both comfortable, then get out there and explore! Have more questions about VIN? Check out the FAQ page for answers.

We’ll see you at Valentines in Niagara!!
